My son and I are doing University open day visits. We needed to stay in a comfortable b+b or hotel for only one night. Finding the hotel was easy, we used a sat-nav. Parking was available, the welcome we received was lovely and the receptionist gave us so much info on arrival that we didn't need to ask about anything at all. The room was clean, with plenty of storage. The linen was clean and fresh. We had a good night sleep and had a lovely, filling breakfast at 8.0 am the next morning. (Not a cooked breakfast) We left early, wishing we could stay longer!

We needed a hotel to stay for the one night before heading to Fife. The room was very comfy and we had a great night sleep. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good friendly atmosphere amongst the staff

We had a great stay here. The staff are very helpful and kind. The room was excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but very good. I will recommend this hotel to others.

WE only stayed for one night but the accommodation was clean and comfortable and would make a good base for a sightseeing holiday. We had problems with our journey and when we phoned to let them know they were very helpful suggesting alternative routes which might aid our journey. Breakfast was continental and I found it adequate.
Overall i was pleased and would stay here again.

Very comfortable accommodation, great for a city break

Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and plenty of choice for breakfast. We took our 5yr old daughter she loved it. Would definitely stay again

Staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful on arrival and this made a good start to our 2 night stay in Edinburgh. This hotel is on one of the main arteries into Edinburgh. There are numerous buses from the bus stop (opposite hotel) to the Royal Mile. You can also walk-this takes about 35-40 minutes but is a good way to see all the little shops on the way. This hotel was an excellent base for seeing the city and you have a 24 hour access key to hotel.
Value for money.

Good value. Easy bus trip to city centre. Very helpful staff.
